Inari is a Kitsune who once lived in a shrine. The blue orb by his side is actually the soul of his best friend, and he often speaks to it. Inari is always curious about the world and loves to make new discoveries.

Kitsune are Japanese foxes, which are portrayed in folklore as cunning shape-shifters. Inari is named after the god of agriculture, who is often associated with foxes. The blue orb is known as a hitodama, and are often used in portrayals of yokai.
